Oahu is the third biggest island, and it's where the Honolulu airport is. I'm going there in June 2012.
Apparently, back in the golden age of radio, Hawaiians got radio signals from L.A. and from San Francisco. In other words, there is a deep divide among the Hawaiian people between Dodger / Laker / Rams fans and Giants / Warriors / 49ers fans. Sadly, it seems that the SF sports contingent is the slight majority. I was warned to be careful when wearing my Dodger hat.
Hana Hou, Hawaiian Airlines' magazine, is one of the best travel publications I've ever read.
