Santa Fe (May 2011)

I'm heading to Santa Fe for a WiserEarth meeting, May 20-24, 2011. Decided to make a weekend out of it.

Possibilities:

• Stay in Albuquerque the first night
• Visit Taos. Santa Fe is between Taos and Albuquerque, which probably means staying in Santa Fe the first night, then heading to Taos the next day
• And of course, Santa Fe

Itinerary

Friday, May 20

Dinner in Albuquerque.

Drive to Santa Fe. Stay at Santa Fe Suites.

Saturday, May 20

Santa Fe Farmer's Market. Could do lunch at The Shed, Atrisco Cafe, or El Parasol. Other places to eat:

• Guadalupe Cafe
• The Burrito Company
• Maria's New Mexican Kitchen
• Cafe Castro

Drive to Taos

• Rio Grande Gorge Bridge
• Visit the Earthships

Or go via backroads and through Chimayo.

Stay at the American Artists Gallery House.

Sunday, May 21

Drive back to Santa Fe.

Monday, May 22

Shift to Inn of the Governors.

4pm -- WiserGiving meeting.

Dinner at Cafe Pasquals.
