If you're willing to travel a few hours for good 'cue, WillSall recommended Hursey's in Graham, which is supposedly legendary. He also recommended Allen & Son, which is between ChapelHill and Durham. {nid LIB}

During the day, we got catering from Irregardless Cafe in Raleigh. Great organic, local food, including the best sweet potato salad I've ever had. And I don't like sweet potatoes. {nid M7O}
