Road trip / "camping" in Boundary Waters with Ed July 9-17, 2011.

Possibilities

Baseball

The Brewers play the Reds the weekend of the 9th, but that won't be feasible, as Milwaukee's too close to Chicago, and we need to get closer to our destination the first night we travel. The White Sox are out the weekend of the 15th.

The Twins play the Royals and the Cubs play the Marlins the weekend of the 15th.

Arrive in Chicago

July 10

Head to Boundary Waters, stopping somewhere in Wisconsin or Minnesota.

Probably head to Apostle Islands in Wisconsin via one of two routes:

July 11-15

Go around Lake Superior to Duluth, then Grand Malais.

Arrive in Boundary Waters.

July 15

Leave Boundary Waters. Head back to Chicago via:
