Boundary Waters

Kristin recommended a canoe trip here as a great vacation. Many, many people have since confirmed this.

• Clearwater Canoe Outfitters and Lodge. Decided to go with them for our July 2011 trip
• Bearskin Outfitters. Referred via Rebecca and LivingSocial. Full-service outfitter. Also has a lodge
• Gunflint Lodge

How to Get There

The closest airport seems to be Duluth in Minnesota. It's expensive, as you might imagine. Minneapolis is about a three-hour drive away and is a cheaper airport.
