- Fat Matt's Rib Shack. The ribs are phenomenal — maybe the best I've ever had, definitely top three. Don't bother with the chicken. Several people recommended this place, and it was good.
- Busy Bee Cafe. According to Elizabeth Moulds, best fried chicken in Atlanta. It was indeed very tasty, but the collards were even better. Loved the vibe of this place.
- Mary Mac's Tea Room. Recommended by the Lyft driver who picked me up from Busy Bee Cafe.
- Southern Art Bourbon Bar. Celebrity chef Art Smith. In Buckhead. Ashley Stewart said the fried chicken there is phenomenal.
- Carroll St. Cafe in Cabbagetown. Recommended by Lauren Brown.
- Daddy D'z BBQ Joynt. Recommended by Lauren Klein.
- Fox Bros. BBQ. Recommended by Diane Johnson.
